Client Support/Business Development Admin Assistant

Essential Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to
- Effectively manage client quoting process: entry, client submission, tracking, and follow-up
- Effectively manage quote conversion to order, tracking (inbound/outbound), and fulfillment. Reply by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information from clients
- Handles confidential and non-routine information
- Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- Types and designs general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.
- Responsible for the accuracy and clarity of the final copy.
- Supporting director with filing contracts and special projects.
- Schedules and organizes meetings, conferences, and department activities for the director.
- Establishes, develops, maintains, and updates business development activities and vendor systems.
- Draft written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information

Qualifications
- We are looking for candidates with an associate or bachelor’s degree from a college or university, three to five years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with specific programs and software
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
- Preferred to have experience in either Safety, Oil & Gas or the construction industry.
- Must have experience in maintaining bid packages and proposals
- Must have experience servicing inside sales, customer service, and client inquiries
- Must be able to follow through and follow up with any requests
- Screening calls for Director is a must
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be in a stationary position over 90% of the time. Must be able to converse verbally to exchange accurate information. Must be able to visually scan documents in detail to detect and identify needs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, direct hire position. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5pm. Overtime or weekend hours may be needed.
