Front Desk Receptionist
Position Summary
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
Essential Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.
- Swiftly and diligently files documentation to support operation recordkeeping.
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
- Utilizes Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook to support administrative and communication needs.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and collating.
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2 years of heavy call volume & administrative experience
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service oriented
- Prior experience screening phone calls
- Proven proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Experience using at least 4 incoming park stations and 12 incoming lines required.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be in a stationary position over 90% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The person will constantly operate a computer, speak over the phone, utilize a keyboard and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Must be able to converse verbally to exchange accurate information. Must be able to visually scan documents in detail to detect and identify needs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, direct hire position. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5pm. Overtime or weekend hours may be needed.
